Everything, including all concepts and all pointing appear nowhere other than in the natural state of seeing, knowing – you are THAT.
Being is silent – just as in nature, the realm of concepts and expressions may also elicit a resonance in being.
This is a relaxed exploration via various ‘pointers’. Recorded in the backyard garden – the birds join in.
Music interludes by these bands: Argentina, Radio Kabul, Zarafa and Yes (a great band from the 70s).

‘Dig a little deeper’ – It is ALL appearance, roots and all.
It ALL appears in the cognizing – every speck of it is an appearance.
Can you find any ‘cognizer’?
There is no deeper or its opposite.
This ‘space-like awareness’ has no center and no boundary.
The thoughts that appear are not ‘your thoughts’.
The ‘thinker’ is merely another thought.
In seeing that fact – it may be recognized that the seeing is not passing though any processes of mind, no labels or concepts are attached in the SEEING.
The ‘natural state’ of seeing and knowing are not attainable by anyone – because they are ALREADY present. – As an ancient texts points out: “Stop talking, stop thinking and there is nothing you will not be able to know.”
You cannot negate that knowing. – That fact alone is enough to demolish all ‘seeking’ or simply know that the ‘seeker’ is just another thought. What you ARE is not a thought.

This isn’t about reaching & claiming a state where we see that there is no person or where we see there is only presence awareness. That is a common error in these circles where the dream of being a separate entity is alive & well and said entity convinces itself it has achieved some sort of clarity by earnestly applying non-duality concepts. It’s only over for no one when it really dawns that the you that you take yourself to be is just a thought and that the you thought/concept is not doing anything and cannot do anything because it’s just a thought. The I thought can’t see and it can’t hear. It doesn’t even have the power to cause misery (though it’s widely assumed to do so). The simple wakefulness has always been there; there’s no struggle to find it, and there’s no story or person that it depends upon.

If there is no separation you might as well say the thoughts are YOU?
But not the entity that the meaning of the thoughts presupposes or seem to give an image of?
There is also a ‘way of thinking’ that is very distinctive and familiar to yourself. Your friends or family might say ; “that is so typical for you to say”. But these thoughts actually belong to the mind/body which depends on your environment/genetics, which belong to the World which belongs to the Universe which is not separate from the Knowing in which and as which it appears?!
Is there actually any relation between “Meaning” and “Knowing”, I wonder?

Well, why not drop the meaning and SEE what relation there is. It is obvious that Knowing remains…..not knowing this or that….just pure knowing…the ACTIVITY of Knowing. It is not ‘OF the mind’ or the brain. The mind, body and brain are appearances in THAT knowing presence. BEING. It is NOT becoming. Mind is leaning, via its concepts, towards ‘becoming’ and burdened by, or trying to escape, from the past. Mind is TIME bound. There is no answer in the mind – it just goes round and round.
No one takes any notice and off they go back into intellectualizing etc.
There is NO Duration to Knowing, no beginning and no end.
This is so very obvious – but ‘we’ ignore it – ‘we’ don’t notice it.
There is NO Observer….see if you can find one……there is only Observing…….seeing-knowing. All the rest, everything you know of, is an appearance or a conceptualization.
What ‘everyone’ misses (and that is natural because they insist on being a ‘someone’) is that this ‘knowing presence’ is timeless – ceaseless – the experiencing is also ceaseless.
The mind divides that empty space-like awareness with concepts of this and that.
The ‘loaded’ idea of ‘I’ is there so quickly, from habit, that ‘I am the witness’, ‘I am the thinker’…etc. The empty space of knowing (space-like awareness), which is always present, is not recognized as what I truly am. – Any meaning you ‘apparently’ give to anything is from acquired mind – words, concepts etc. LIFE is spontaneously expressing itself without labels and words. By looking in the mind for an answer the obvious is bypassed. The ONLY thing you can be absolutely certain of is the fact of your own BEING. Start right there and stay there – drop all concepts and be the Knowing.
Understanding is silent, wordless – stop ignoring it.

The Unity is an illusion….of twoness coming together. The relationship is only an appearance.
The Totality is never divided……..was never divided and never will be divided…No TIME – No Duration.
The apparent unification (realization) is of the mind……..it appears to resolve duality into Non Duality…..for whom? There is NO DUALITY IN NON DUALITY.
No one discovers THIS…….The knowing simply eliminates belief…….
Self shining……the light by which ‘you’ see anything and everything is prior to that ‘you’.
Knowing that alone is enough.
Chop water – carry wood….No diff.

Imply? By what light is the ‘apparent’ implication seen or imagined?
The light of awareness cannot be seen. It is not apart from the SEEING. It is all inclusive – all directions appear nowhere other than on (or in) awareness. It is the mind that follows implications and gets lost in its own ‘space’. There is no answer in the mind. All mental activity is an appearance and it disappears. Words are just expressions. The description is NEVER the described. The conflict over details is because of attachment to biased views and opinions. Keep it simple. ‘You’ cannot negate ‘seeing-knowing’. The brightest scientist cannot truly explain the livingness that animates his or her own organic life – that which allows all the activities to take place. Theories are merely conceptual constructions.

So this light of Awareness is the totality. It is All of It, the Knowing that’s Knowing ‘you’, ‘me’ and that distant galaxy at the end of the Universe, nothing less , nothing more. This can be realized in its fullness without distortion. Nor by realizing more fully or even dying will there be a dissolving into ‘something’ that’s not already here and now. This Knowing-ness is that whether you are Jesus, Buddha or a monkey in a tree. It is not that we are rays reflecting in the pieces of a broken mirror (separate ‘conciousness-es’: body/minds), so to speak, each reflecting a ray of the Sun which is the totality. No, you realize yourself as the Sun itself ?
And this we ‘know’ because of the Knowing-ness which cannot be known, which doesn’t Know itself and which is even present ( deep sleep, death) when there is nothing to Know?

Correct. – This is self-evident in the simple fact that you cannot negate this being-ness, this knowing, this presence. Where are you truly SEEING from?
That ‘view’ is actually from beyond time and space – yet the ‘material’ that forms as thinking about this, or anything at all, is a translucent appearance in this ‘open view’.
All fragments of relativity are actually absolute. This is beyond comprehension. Each fractional ‘point’ contains everything, the WHOLE. For the mind this ‘feels like’ an Infinity Loop – because of ‘self-referencing’. – Seeming individuality dissolves and re-forms in ‘time’ endlessly – yet the Core Essence of Being, THAT remains Clear and Empty – That is our true nature. – Every speck of LIFE is a movement of Knowing. – It is wordless – silent – At the ‘point’ of Absolute Knowing, it is point-less and nothing is happening.
‘Who’ wants to know this? The dance of fear and desire is only in the appearance, a play of light and shadow.

Yeah…..it is sloppy saying. ‘I’ am at ‘one’ with ‘my’ duality. Sounds real complex, I wonder how he ‘did’ that? – Just jesting about. Everyone gets so serious about this stuff.
Bob’s pointer “Start from the fact that you ARE THAT” – You are THAT One without a second – you ARE that intelligence – that LIFE. If you ‘start’ conceptual it all remains conceptual…….YES, I know, all the words used are concepts – but what they are pointing at is not conceptual – LIFE is not a concept – Awareness is not a concept. We have many concepts about these ‘Non Things’ but the concept is never IT. A concept is a concept.
How this basic fact does not sink in, for so many, is such a mystery – and not a mystery.
