Some of the speakers who appear in these podcasts are some of the clearest speakers on this subject of Non Duality (not all of them).  There are thousands we could have interviewed but most do not meet the required ‘standards’ and most of them fall short by a hundred miles.  It could be said to be unfortunate, that many ‘teachers’ make everything complicated by stamping their concepts over everything.  It is plainly obvious that many have no conscience and ‘steal’ pointers and use them for their own purposes.  They sell their conceptual teaching to the unwary, gather large followings and hold everyone to ransom. There are very few ‘teachers’ who are clean and clear of conceptual nonsense. One can see clearly that no one gets any true benefit because they are all encouraged to seek MORE.

THERE IS NO MORE.   Right now reality is just as it is.  The mind finds problems because it is constantly referring to an image of self – and that ‘self’ is non existent.  Therefore the seeking and the psychological suffering continues. It is completely unnecessary.  Believing in being a seeker is a loop in mind and there is no way out except to STOP.

What is true is simple. Reality is the PROOF.  Seeking is a dis-ease in being. It is psychological – if it stays there long enough it affects the physical body. The loop appears to be strong – but it cannot stand up to a clear investigation. There is NO reason why any teacher needs to prolong the deliverance of a clear message, except because they do not understand themselves.
Non Duality has turned into a profitable industry and frankly it is nothing less than disgusting what goes on.  Ridiculous seminars and retreats that cost a small fortune to attend.  It is utterly absurd. Stupendous Nonsense and idolatry is flaunted as if it were a God sent gift and all along it is nothing but the bondage of an apparent self.  99% of the presentations on this subject are almost complete nonsense.  How anyone cannot see that is a marvel to behold.  Compromised information is glorified and twisted into cult like activities.

What is pointed to in these podcast programs will not go stale or be dated. What is pointed to has never aged or changed one iota.   Therefore these programs serve as a vehicle for clear pointing.  You may not realise it but this is rare to find.  Usually those who organise such podcasts spoil the program with all kinds of unclear ramblings.

The Urban Guru Cafe programs are downloaded by around 7,000 plus listeners and streamed by a few more. It is broadcast on only one Radio Station at the moment – 93.1 CFIS FM in Prince George BC.  8.30 Sunday mornings.

Non Duality is not some tricky subject one needs to study. It is all very simple.  It is simple – simply Seeing and knowing for oneself.  All you need to do is to pay some attention to what is being pointed out.  It needs to be attention that is free from ‘old ideas’.  There are new notes and comments on the seeing-knowing site for those interested. – Gilbert

Just to ensure that the message is ‘heard’ clearly we have taken measures to make it easier for every potential visitor – we are providing a clean transcript of this program.  This program contains all the essential pointers that anyone needs.  If you can follow what is pointed out it is virtually impossible not to recognize your own essential ‘natural state’.   You may need to read and listen a few times.  This program represents what the Urban Guru Cafe is about.  Listen in a relaxed way and let the ‘message’ register without ‘reaction’ from the mind.  Mind is only appearance.  Pure being is not in the mind.  As long as there is some form of grasping consciousness going on, then the idea of seeking will perpetuate itself.   This naked awareness, which is beyond mind, is timelessly present – it is not altered by ‘time’.   Anyone who has experienced a true insight knows that it is a wordless insight – it is not in the conditioned mind – it is pure in-seeing.  Space like awareness is prior to the appearance of all the qualities and content of consciousness. That does not mean that it is separate.  Not two.

What must be clearly understood is that no one can ‘do’ anything for you – no guru, teacher or any ‘me’ or  ’other than me’ can facilitate the recognition that is required. What is usually offered is a conditional perspective which keeps the seeker locked into a mind game.  Once a clear and precise recognition has ‘happened’ there is little one can say about it, because it is beyond language.  Knowing is never truly corrupted by thought….It is pure knowing, pure being, which has always been present because it IS presence itself.  Any ‘personal history’ is only baggage and all our old ideas amount to nil until we let go absolutely.  Link to Guest Speaker here.

The guide can walk with you and assist with direction and the avoidance of deviations.  The spontaneous recognition is always potential.  You must SEE for yourself.  Belief is useless in this ‘venture’.  Belief is a hinderance and old ideas amount to nothing.
