2. Pointers Series - Program 1: You are already That

This is the first of a series of programs on pointers used in advaita. The pointer explored in this program is ‘You are already that’, a pointer used by Bob Adamson. Parallels are drawn between this pointer and one used by Nisagardatta of staying with the ‘I am.’

The two advaita ‘teachers’ who feature in the program are Gilbert Schultz and Bob Adamson. In the program, Gilbert Schultz explains what a pointer is as well as introduces the pointer we are exploring. The remaining portion of the program is composed of excerpts taken from Bob Adamson’s three CDs - ‘Sailor’ Bob Adamson - companion Audio CD to the book - What’s wrong with Right Now - unless you think about it’ - Selections from Meetings recorded in 2003 - Volume 1,2 and 3 which form the text in his book ‘PRESENCE AWARENESS - Just This and Nothing Else .’

    Thanks for the podcasts! And the transcript! I like the way you’ve interwoven the different quotes, pointers with the voiceovers and music.     I could not agree more with all of the posts so far. What is most appreciated by me is the transcripts, in that given Bob’s laid back delivery and my in-experience with the accent, I have been unable to listen to his message. Thanks so much. ralph

    Nice to hear some “new” Bobspeak from your archives that I haven’t heard before. Starting from where you are, the being that is , is so obvious now…….but yet it needed to be “pointed to” to be recognized, how bizzare and how sublime, Luvit! Tazz.

    Regarding the Pointer Series, Program 1, “You are already that.” Very powerful, but the transcript is incorrect. The transcript for program 1 is actually program 2. Can you correct that please? Thanks
