A sound-scape with a few words thrown in.

A brief program that may assist in the exploration of ‘one’s own’ conscious presence.

That ‘one’s own’ conscious presence is actually the Universal Presence of Awareness.

No theories or beliefs are needed.

A good question: Where does seeing, hearing, etc really take place? What happens? Strange life.
That first mandolin fragment was really good. You should develop it - get another two mins out of it.

A small mandolin was given to me last year. I could not play it without making an unpleasant sound for quite awhile. Each day I would pick it up and experiment with it. The tuning is different to a guitar and only a few chords seem to work well. It is the fast picking that seems to work best. Anyway, after about four months, some sort of breakthrough happened and the mandolin started to make some pleasant sounds. My eldest son is a pro-flamenco guitarist, so hanging out with him has its influence.
Of course, it is all just happening in the appearance of things.
It is the intelligence that ‘does it all’. There is ‘no one’ who learns to play mandolin or learns anything. There is the appearance of someone learning all sorts of things.
By getting the ‘me’ out of the way, intelligence can express itself a lot more freely - well that is a concept, isn’t it?
The various questions put forward in these “What is Awareness?” short programs are ‘designed’ to stop the thinking - to encourage a clear ‘looking into’ ‘What is’.

I came across this “complaint” of the urban guru café, of not getting enough feedback, on your site, Gilbert. So here I hurry to leave track of my bothering. Your soundscape is the most original and in itself complete pointer that has ever crawled into my ear. And the second part of Stephen’s talk came in just the right moment, when “I was suffering because suffering had sneaked in again”. As someone commented, just to hear Stephens vivid voice, speaking from emptiness, is liberating…Whatever is due to happen, will happen. The urban guru café may disappear…but let me tell you that I find it the far most effective way of transmitting the good news. Un abrazo desde Lima

It was just a nudge - Some need to come out of their Advaita Cave and let some light shine in.
